Training and Development Resources

Professional development and career opportunities are consistently ranked as important rewards by staff members working at Lehigh. Staff development is an essential element of the Staff Employment Value Strategy that was introduced in 2004. The training and development resources listed here also serve to support "Investing in Faculty and Staff: A Strategic Expansion," a critical element of the University's strategic plan.

Many staff members are actively involved in furthering their education, developing skills to enhance current peformance, or developing new skills to prepare for future career opportunities. Review the schedule of programs and resources and sign up for an opportunity to learn.

REACH: Resources to Engage, Accomplish, Connect, & Help

ERAC is launching an interdepartmental and university-wide program aimed at fostering professional relationships and networks among faculty and staff. By connecting Lehigh employees with each other and providing opportunities to learn about the university, REACH seeks to advance multiple goals of Lehigh's strategic plan, including investing in faculty and staff, as well as the university's core values and the aims of the Council on Equity and Community. Additional information is available on the ERAC website.

Due to overwhelming interest, the program is at capacity for the REACH cohorts starting in October. However, ERAC anticipates launching additional cohorts in January 2012. If you would like to participate in January 2012, please be sure to sign up by October 14, 2011.
