Retirement
Lehigh University offers salaried faculty and staff members with retirement benefit programs designed to build the wealth necessary to fund their financial security during retirement. Based on the "three legged stool" approach to retirement planning, the university provides:
- Employer Contributions to the Retirement Program for Faculty and Staff
- Employee Savings in the Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan
Educational sessions on the issues related to retirement are provided through Lehigh's Workplace Learning and Performance programs. In addition, an individual retirement counselor from TIAA-CREF is available to meet with employees on campus.
