University Disability Advisory Committee

The University Disability Advisory Committee serves to increase sensitivity and awareness about disability issues and works to ensure that individuals with disabilities have equal access to campus resources. Committee members can help individuals with disabilities receive reasonable accommodations, including support services and/or assistive technologies, which will enable them to participate fully in University programs and activities.

It is the responsibility of University employees with disabilities to identify themselves to the appropriate contact person to provide the required documentation in order to receive accommodations. Given the specific nature of each person's disability, “reasonable accommodations” are determined on an individual basis.

A list of appropriate contact people is provided on the University Disability Advisory Committee web site.

Lehigh's disability accommodation process for staff is available in the ADA Manual.
