Ombuds Services
An ombudsperson is a designated neutral or impartial dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to all students, faculty, and staff in achieving resolutions to problems that they may not have been able to resolve through existing University resources and procedures. Lehigh currently has two appointed University Ombudspersons: Rosemary Mundhenk (professor of English) and Charles Smith (professor of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics).
