GSS Executive Board - 2012-2013

The mission of the Lehigh University Graduate Student Senate is to serve as the representing body of the Graduate Student community in all matters pertinent to the graduate programs and Graduate Student life at Lehigh University.

Announcements

All departments are responsible for electing their unit reps for the next academic year. Fall 2013 meetings will begin the first week of class. GSS meetings take place every other week during the academic year, and are on Wednesdays at noon. Please visit http://www.lehigh.edu/~ingss/officers.html to determine how many representatives make up your unit. Where there is more than one department making up a unit (due to small departments), each department in that unit gets one representative, making sure that all departments are represented. Please have your department coordinator email the name of your new representative to ingss@lehigh.edu.
Yousef Jalali is interested in starting a Professional Development Committee to become a permanent GSS Committee. He is looking for at least one student from each college to join. If you are interested and available over the summer to start planning, please email him at yoj212@lehigh.edu.
Club budgets and annual reports are due on June 30th. Late budgets will delay everyone getting their money so please get them in on time! If you have any questions, please refer to the Fiscal Governance (http://www.lehigh.edu/~ingss/governing_documents.html), or email ingss@lehigh.edu.
The GSS is looking for one student from each college to be on the Budget Committee. The Budget Committee allocates club budgets and GSS funds. Club presidents and treasurers are not able to serve on the budget committee. If you are interested, please email ingss@lehigh.edu.
