Welcome to ire@l !!
ire@l is an innovative course of study unlike real estate programs at other universities. ire@l is not a major. ire@l is designed to complement a wide range of academic majors from art and architecture to environmental science to civil engineering to finance and marketing, to name just a few. ire@l is open to all undergraduate students at Lehigh. Indeed, the interdisciplinary nature of ire@l is one of its best qualities as ire@l students work in teams on projects that cross many academic boundaries.
The ire@l curriculum is taken over a three-to-four year period, so you may enter the program your first year, or as a sophomore. During your time in ire@l you will engage in a broad variety of classroom and out-of-classroom experiences that will: enhance your academic preparation; allow you to form many lifelong relationships; contribute to both the Lehigh and Bethlehem communities; and, prepare you to be a leader in whatever professional field you choose to pursue.
