Student Life
A responsible global citizen is someone who strives to gain a well-rounded education, by means of bridging knowledge with experience, theory with practice, awareness with action. The Global Citizenship Program allows students to achieve this ultimate goal by providing co-curricular opportunities for leadership, service, and social change on a local and global scale. Below are some such opportunities – it is up to the students in the program to take advantage of them, and to find the best way to make a difference!
And… every time you participate in or help organize an event, don’t forget to fill out your co-curricular report form!
Student Leadership Activities
One of the areas in which our Global Citizenship students have been leaders and have made a difference is the Global Citizenship Student Committee.
The Global Citizenship House (the optional residential branch of the program) was created thanks to the perseverance and enthusiasm of the students.
Last but not least, Global Citizenship students serve in primary roles in myriad student organizations on campus, especially the Global Union.
