"Global Citizenship Best Practices Across the Nation" Workshop

Lehigh University , Bethlehem , PA

The study of Global Citizenship has been a rapidly developing educational field attracting interest from faculty and staff, foundations and corporations. Spanning the disciplinary areas, from engineering, business, social sciences, religion, and more, a global citizenship education is coming to mean different things to different constituencies.

The goal of this conference is to generate interaction between university faculty and staff interested in the "best practices" of Global Citizenship throughout the nation. Lehigh University faculty and staff, currently involved with its own Global Citizenship Program, along with those who work with or offer Global Citizenship Programs across the nation, will stimulate interaction with workshops, lectures, and discussions on the most important recent and successful global and study abroad educational developments.

The conference will cover topics of curricular innovation, innovative international opportunities, technology, and assessment and evaluation.
