Please complete the application below in order to be considered for the program. Although the admission process will be selective, students in any major are eligible to apply. Thirty seats are available, and candidates will be evaluated for their potential to contribute to the program through active work on international projects and to the experience of the rest of the group. Your application will only be considered complete if information has been entered in all of the fields.

  3. In the field below please provide a list of all your extra-curricular activities and/or participation in organizations/clubs that you feel are relevant to the Global Citizenship Program.



  4. To be considered for Lehigh's Global Citizenship Program, please forward via e-mail two letters of recommendation to Gisella Gisolo, at gig207@lehigh.edu.

      5. Each letter must be written by an adult who can speak to your character - for example, a pastor, a coach, a teacher, an employer.

      The letter of recommendation should include the following:

        i. How do you know the applicant?

        ii. Please address the applicant's level of social engagement and/or attention to community, state, and world issues.

        iii. Why do you think the applicant will succeed in Lehigh's Global Citizenship Program? How do you think (s)he will benefit? And what will (s)he contribute?

      Please note that letters of recommendation cannot be transferred from your admissions file. A new set of recommendation letters is required.

  5. Please forward two typed 500-word essays to us at gig207@lehigh.edu.

      6. Why are you interested in the Global Citizenship Certificate Program and what challenges do you expect it will offer you?

      Choose a current global issue. Tell us what you know about it, why it interests you, and how you hope the Global Citizenship Program could help you learn more.

 

• Please note that you may be required to participate in a telephone interview. If selected for the interview, you will receive advance notice of the date and time.
