Admissions
The Global Citizenship Program is open to students in all three colleges at Lehigh University, The College of Arts and Sciences, P.C. Rossin College of Engineering, and The College of Business and Economics. This program is designed to inform, challenge, and enrich your education by focusing on the questions, ideals, problems, and practices of global citizenship - issues that insist that you, the student, take responsibility for critically knowing and ethically acting in today's rapidly changing world. We welcome students with broad academic interests and are proud of building cohorts that are diverse and engaged in their communities.
In order to be considered for the program, incoming Lehigh University freshmen students must complete the application form and include all required supporting documents.
The application portfolio consists of the following:
- Application Form
- List of extracurricular activities and/or participation in organizations/clubs relevant to Global Citizenship
- Two letters of recommendation speaking to the student's character
- Two typed 500-word essays
- A telephone interview may be required. If selected for the interview, the applicant will receive advance notice of the date and time.
