10/01 - 12/01 Saucon Elementary School, Hellertown, PA.  Student Teacher

 Managed a 4th grade class of 26 students, designed units and created lesson plans.  Participated in parent/teacher conferences, running records, report cards, IEP planning sessions, quarterly assessments, and student Smartboard presentations.

9/01 - 10/01 Calypso Elementary, Bethlehem, PA.  Student Teacher
 Managed a 3rd grade class of 16 students, designed units and created lesson plans.  Participated in Open House, Back to School Night, and in implementation of a classroom management plan.

9/00 - 5/01 Moravian Academy, Bethlehem, PA. Teacher's Aide
Aide in after school care. Worked mostly with Pre-K to 2nd grade. Spent time with the children reading, coloring, talking and playing games. Also helped the older children with homework.

5/99 - 8/99 Disney-MGM Studios, Orlando, FL. Character Performer
Costumed and performed as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at Disney theme park. Conducted "meet and greets" with children including interaction with Make-A-Wish Foundation children who were terminally ill. A most rewarding experience due to the constant involvement and interaction with children.

8/98 - 6/00 Lehigh University's Child Studies Department, Bethlehem, PA. Research Assistant
Began as a research assistant collecting data helping a Professor of Psychology with experiments being conducted. Earned the responsibility of running the lab independently. Worked hands-on with the children that were brought into the lab in conducting experiments. Supervised other research assistants.

01/97 - 12/97 & 01/98 - 05/98 Centennial School, Bethlehem, PA. Research Assistant
Research assistant at a school for children with behavioral disorders. Conducted a special project for a professor of education at Lehigh University. Daily collection and compiling of data of children's behavior. Monitored success and stability with defined activities. Spent time in the classroom with children assisting the teacher.

05/96 - 9/96 & 05/97 - 9/97 Children's Psychiatric Center School (CPC), Morganville, NJ. Teacher's Aide
Aide in a fourth grade classroom for children with emotional and behavioral disorders. Helped the children in their daily activities and lessons. Taught a lesson in the classroom setting each week. Worked in this position at CPC for two consecutive summers.
