REFLECTION STATEMENT
The preassessment lesson turned out very
well. The students were able to complete the worksheet and I was able to
divide the class into three fairly equal groups in order to diversify the
lesson. We then had three teachers take a group and provide the necessary
instruction.
The lesson was a one shot deal, however,
and there was not an opportunity to do a meaningful followup. However,
the students have been including more dialogue in their writing and I believe
that is due to their increased confidence gained from this lesson.
