My name is Alison Stebbins. I am a 2006 Lehigh University graduate with a BA in English and a minor in Journalism. I am also a 2007 graduate of Lehigh University's College of Education Teaching Learning and Technology program with an M. Ed. in secondary education.

I am originally from the New Jersey Shore but have decieded to make the Lehigh Valley my permanent home. For fun I like to spend time with my family and friends. I like to go to the beach, read, shop, play golf and take in community events.

Education has always been very important to me. While growing up, the focus at home was always on school. My sister and I were both expected to try our best and put school before other activities. I believe that education provides individuals with the skills necessary to be good and productive citzens. When I was a sophomore in high school I took a summer job teaching swimming at a local swim school. By the end of my first summer I had a career goal, to be a teacher. I also knew that I loved English, so logically I decided to combine my love of English with my new love of teaching.
