Taught Literature to eleventh and tenth
grade students at Parkland High School. Two
of the classes, tenth and one eleventh grade, were Integrated English and
History classrooms. These classes
were team taught in coordination with the History and English Departments. The
remaining eleventh grade classroom was a College Prep English class.

Taught Literature to tracks A, B, and
C eighth graders at Nitschmann Middle School in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The
C track class was an alternative Literature class where I team-taught with
two other teachers. The curriculum
surrounded the workings of a newspaper. The
remaining two tracks adhered to the curriculum set forth by the Middle
School.

item music (1998), Sculpture (1999), and The Newspaper (2000).

(2000): My duty on this committee
was to serve and lead the faculty members of Lehigh Valley Summerbridge. I
was instrumental in devising the daily schedule, leader of my teaching
team, and coordinator of SPCA community service project for my team’s students,
and mentor for the new teacher on my team.

Served as head of Art Committee: I
was responsible for the ordering of all art and school material for teaching
staff. Coordinated all decorations
for the summer (included parent’s night, Olympics, end of year program,
and daily activities). Devised
bulletins for funding contributors.

Committee (1998): I was
instrumental in organizing and personally promoted school wide information
programs for students.

Served as a member of the Olympics Committee
(1999): I was in charge
of organizing up various fun sports event for students to participate in
at Moravian Academy Upper school. I
was also in charge of placing the various teachers at the fun events.

I have preformed a great deal of community
service activities within the past four years. In
my undergraduate years, I was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. We
took part on many philanthropy events for the youth of Easton. I
was instrumental in participation in and planning many events including
Trick or Treat on the Hill (1997-200) and Easter Eggstravaganze (1998-2000).
I was a member of AmeriCorps for a period
of two years. During
this time I completed 900 hours of community service, all in education. This
educational service involved, teaching, tutoring, and fieldtrips.
