Go APE:
GO od Attitude Participation Effort

A successful learning environment is integral to my teaching of English.  Urging students in the class to "Go APE" creates a conducive learning atmosphere.  This method of child centered, active learning represents good attitude, participation, and effort.

Good Attitude:
A strong positive attitude toward English is a necessary component to achieve excellence within my classroom.  To better facilitate such a positive attitude within my classroom, I offer students encouragement, enthusiasm, and multiple opportunities to succeed.

Participation:
Participation is a key requirement necessary to delve into any subject matter.  However, participation is of particular importance within my English classroom.  Consistent attention and student-teacher interactions reinforce the necessity if classroom participation.  These components are integral elements found in my lessons.

Effort:
Effort is perhaps the most essential attribute within my classroom.  Without this component, students can never achieve to their highest potential.  My belief is that every student has the ability to excel and achieve in English.  It is my role as their teacher to pose thought provoking questions, challenging them to go beyond their limits.  This instructional technique heighten their efforts to succeed in my classes.

It is the job and responsibility of myself as a English teacher to ensure that all of these requirements are achieved by my students. Through care and extreme love of knowledge, I hope to enhance the material I teach to entice full English comprehension.
