will be asked what they think the setting, the atmosphere and environment,
of the novel looks like.

We will
create a brainstorming web on the board to be copied by all the students.
Procedure:

The movie
will begin.

Students
will be reminded to jot down a few notes regarding the similarities and
differences they have witnessed.

Is that how you pictured Montag to look?

What was Montag’s wife’s name? Is
it different in the movie?

Are the events of the movie in the same order as in the book?

Did you picture Clarisse to look and act the way that she does in the movie?

Closure:

will be asked to get into pairs.

In the pairs,
they will discuss what they like the most and least about the movie

descriptive journal detailing the differences and similarities between
the movie and the book. make
sure your journal is at least 2 paragraphs in length.
