When I imagine myself teaching, an image of my ideal classroom pops into my head. I think that the classroom environment is very important in the success that the teacher has in educating the students. The classroom must stimulate the students, and it also must be an environment that the students feel safe and welcomed. If a student does not feel comfortable in their classrooms and if they are not excited about being there, then they will never learn the material that we want them to.
For this reason I have created my idea of what a classroom should look like to be most effective for the teacher and the students. Below are some images and descriptions that depict what I would want my classroom to look like. If you put them all together you would have the perfect classroom environment for learning.
* many windows allowing sunshine and fresh air
* computers, calculators and supplies provided for all students and teachers

* doors to the outside and hallway

* chairs arranged in a semicircle so all students can be seen

Some might say I am dreaming, but I personally feel that the above pictures demonstrate what all classroom should look like. I feel that all these things are important if we want our students to succeed.
