Clasroom Management Plan:

There are several means in which to manage a classroom. Silence, proves to be an effective tool, and this enables the students focus their attention on the teacher. Most, effective from observations and experience, is having the lesson for a class effectively planned. The teacher must have their students conditioned to the rules and regulations of the class—they must make themselves clear of what the expectations are going to be out of them. Let students know what will and will not be tolerated. Students should know that their behavior will be assessed in addition to their performance in the classroom. When having the lesson effectively planned, students have a goal for that day and know what they have to accomplish. I think this creates a more effective lesson and manageable classroom. A teacher must circle, the room in order to get an accurate read of the class as a whole. A teacher must be observant so that no inappropriate behavior goes unrecognized so that a pattern is created. Although reprimanding students, it must not be done with malice or bitterness. It should be done privately as well so that the student isn’t embarrassed. Every student deserves some respect. The effective use of these strategies will create a more manageable classroom.
