VIDEO CLIP OF TEACHING I chose this clip because it demonstrates my ability to communicate effectively.  In this clip, I explain to the students that we are going to be making the first page of a book about the seasons.  This activity took place after we listened to a story about winter and talked about the things that people, animals, and plants do during winter.  I explain that the children are to draw a picture that shows what people, animals, and plants do during the winter.  I ask students to suggest things that they could put on their page.   Click here to see the video clip:  http://www.lehigh.edu/~jrw2/winter2.mov **This video clip uses Quicktime Player.  If you do not have this software, you can go to www.apple.com/quicktime to download a free version.  Reflection:  I think that I communicated the directions clearly in this clip.  I did not have much student involvement because I did not want to have the liability of having students faces, names, and voices on my website.  I liked my calm, caring voice.  However, sometimes I think that I spend too much time giving directions.  I probably need to cut down the time that I spend doing this.
