Daniel E. Smith Jr. is president and CEO of Sycamore Networks, Inc. Sycamore is a NASDAQ traded company and is a world leader in Intelligent Optical Networking Products.

Widely recognized as a networking industry leader, Mr. Smith was named one of “High Tech’s 30 Most Powerful CEOs” (Forbes), while the Massachusetts Telecommunications Council also awarded Sycamore Networks with IPO of the Year for 2000. Mr. Smith was named New England Entrepreneur of the year in 1995.

Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Engineering from Lehigh University and a MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in Massachusetts. Mr. Smith also served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy.

William F. Hecht is the Retired Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PPL Corporation. Mr. Hecht joined PPL in 1964 and advanced to vice president-System Power in 1983. In 1990 he was named executive vice president-Operations and was elected to the company’s board of directors. He served as president of the company from 1991-2006 and in the additional role of chairman and chief executive officer from 1993-2006.

Mr. Hecht has served on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and was a member of the board of directors of the Nuclear Energy Institute and the Edison Electric Institute. He also served as a member of the Pennsylvania Business Roundtable.

A registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Mr. Hecht holds a B.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.

Dennis E. Singleton III serves as executive vice president and chief investment officer and director of Spieker Properties in Menlo Park, CA. The company is a self-administered real estate investment trust that owns, operates, manages, leases, acquires, and develops commercial property in California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Mr. Singelton graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in industrial engineering. He earned a MBA from Harvard University in 1968.
