The goal of the Symposium on Teaching and Learning is to highlight new, interesting, and effective approaches to teaching and learning at Lehigh. We hope to disseminate good ideas, inspire others to try new approaches, and recognize the work of those who have met with success of one kind or another in their teaching. The Symposium is free and open to all members of the Lehigh community.
Call for Presenters:
We are looking for presenters for Lehigh's 2013 Symposium on Teaching and Learning, which will be held on Thursday, April 18th (mark your calendars!--the rough schedule is below).
Specifically, we are looking for faculty who are interested in offering a brief (5 minutes or so) presentation during the noon to 2:00pm "Innovations in Teaching and Learning" session. The idea for this session is to offer a relatively rapid series of presentations and thereby provide a broad overview of the many ways we are bringing new approaches to our classrooms.
We will consider any proposal you have, but we are particularly interested in featuring stories from faculty who have adopted engaging pedagogies, integrated emerging technologies, or adjusted their teaching to address themes of sustainability, social justice, and globalization into their classrooms.
