Teacher Development Program for Graduate Students
In the 2007-8 academic year, we are offering a total of twelve different sessions on a variety of topics, all run by Lehigh faculty and staff. Graduate Students who attend six of the eleven sessions will receive a Level I Certificate noting their participation, and letters of commendation to their chair and adviser. Those who attend ten of the eleven will receive a book on college teaching, a Level II certificate noting their additional efforts in this area, and a second letter sent to their chair and adviser.
Spring 2008 Sessions
Session 1 – How Teachers Teach: Writing to Learn

Topics: How can teachers use shorter, informal, easy-to-grade writing assignments to
facilitate learning?
