READ Romans 12:17-21
-
What causes you not to like a
person?

Relationships with your enemies.
READ Matthew 5:43-48
-
Why may it be difficult to do well
to those who treat you wrong?
-
What do you usually do when people
treat you wrong?
-
A key component of healthy
friendships is sacrifice. How much you are willing to put others before
yourself will determine how close your friendships will be.
-
Doing good to those who do not
like you or to those whom you may not like is a true test of character.
Developing the gift of patience and forgiveness will make your life much
easier as you encounter different types of people that may not be easy
to get along with. Always remember that God has a purpose for everyone
that comes into your life whether they are a friend, a foe, or a thorn.
"My
grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's
power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses,
in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak,
then I am strong.
