Endowed and sponsored scholarship funds account for approximately 32% of the over $38 million awarded in university funded financial aid. These scholarships are funded by alumni and friends of the university. The amounts and requirements for these funds vary and there is no separate application required. Throughout the fall semester, the Office of Financial Aid will match students with funds with a dollar for dollar reduction to the Lehigh University Grant. Announcements of these awards are through an updated Financial Aid Award Notification. The scholarships are renewable from year to year, assuming all requirements are met. In most instances, students are required to correspond with the donor of the scholarship as well as attend the annual scholarship dinner. Biographical information is provided from the Development Office to those students who are required to respond.
