Financial Support for Short-Term Study Abroad

The Dean of the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science has established a fund to provide financial support for engineering students participating in an approved short-term Lehigh Study Abroad program. The fund is intended to defray costs associated with Lehigh courses (i.e., led by Lehigh faculty members) undertaken by students as part of a short-term Study Abroad experience.

Students must submit the following materials to apply:

  • a one-page letter of request that demonstrates financial need and explains why the study abroad opportunity is important to the student's academic development, and
  • a brief memo of endorsement from the Lehigh faculty member leading the student's Study Abroad program.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis through the year. Application materials (students request and faculty endorsement) must be submitted to:
