Welcome to my web page. This has been created in liason with my English 290-11 seminar; Film and American History. I have included some pictures and personal interests to help you get to know me. I hope you enjoy:)
In the spring of '99 I travelled and studied abroad in Sydney, Australia.
This
is a picture of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The Harbour
is one of the most spectacular sites in the world, and is always bustling
with sailboats and ferries.
I was lucky to meet true friends. It's amazing that I had to fly around the world to find life long friends the way I did when I went to Sydney. These people changed my life and were there to experience all of the amazing activities with me.

is Sarah, me, Shannon, Cara and Tara enjoying a night out on the town.
We were all pretty much inseparable.
Another one of my favorite places is my summer house. Every summer I go to a small, secluded lake in Western New York, called Chautauqua Lake. It is a small community filled with families and friends who have been coming summer after summer for generations. My older sister and I are 6th generation in my family to go to Chautauqua. It is a special, unique experience which has impacted my life as a person in more ways than I could ever explain. My friends are people whom I have known since I was 5 years old.

Here we
all are hanging out at our favorite bar, Snugs.
With regards to my seminar class, I have chosen to examine the 1993 HBO production of And the Band Played On, a docudrama tracing the outbreak of the AIDS epidemic and particular doctors involved and their fight to find a cure. Check out the following link to my site to find out more information about the film and the continual fight against AIDS.
