Oliver Stone's Wall Street was released in 1987 starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas, and Daryl Hannah.  The movie tells the story of Bud Fox, a young and naive stockbroker, looking to "bag the elephant."  The "elephant" Fox ends up getting is the ruthless financier, Gordon Gekko.  Gekko teaches Fox how to "be a player" through inside trading scams.  As the movie progresses, we see Fox's evolution from a poor broker to a wealthy inside trader and finally to a convicted criminal who realizes the error of his ways.  This movie offers an overview of the greed and scandal that swept Wall Street in the 1980's.
