Vitae:

Matthew graduated from Lehigh University with honors in 2004 and began graduate work at Lehigh University the same year. A member of the Alpha Sigma Mu honor society as an undergraduate, he also was the president of Lehigh University’s traveling club soccer team for two years. His brief undergraduate research with Lehigh University’s Chemistry department produced his only publication in the Journal of Physical Chemistry on the characterization of a power acid material. Matthew’s interest in welding and high temperature corrosion is superseded only by his love for the environment. His hobbies include fly fishing, road biking, and skiing. Upon completion of his Masters degree, Matthew plans on applying his technical skills at an industrial job.
