Vitae:

 Jeffrey David Farren was born on March 1, 1982 to his parents, David and Rosanne Farren in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania .  Jeff and elder sister Jennifer grew up in Churchville, PA, where both attended Archbishop Ryan High School .  Involvement in varsity and club athletics throughout elementary and high school fostered Jeff's love of sports.  Upon matriculating to Lehigh University in 2000, he continued his interest in sports, playing intramural baseball, basketball and soccer.  Jeff majored in materials science and engineering, becoming elected to Alpha Sigma Mu and serving as the Student Materials Society's President during his senior year.  In 2004, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree.  Jeff entered graduate school at Lehigh University in the summer of 2004, focusing on high alloy corrosion testing.  He expects to earn his masters degree in the fall of 2007.
