The
School Psychology Program faculty are very active at seeking and
receiving grant support. These grants serve to facilitate both the
research and training agenda of the program. Many of these projects
involve students working with children and families from ethnically
and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Listed below are some of
these projects on which current students are supported:

Training Project for selected doctoral students interested in completing
an endorsement in this specialization area of the program (Drs.
DuPaul and Shapiro)
A U.S. Department of Education research

for students with severe emotional and behavioral problems. The
interventions will be implemented in schools with logitudinal follow-up.
(Dr. Lee Kern, Special Education)

houses numerous grants and projects dedicated to bringing research
to practice. (Dr. Shapiro)
