Writing occurs everywhere in the English department, in nearly every course. Virtually all of our literature courses include a significant amount of writing, mostly analytical writing but also a surprising amount of creative writing. And we also offer more intense and specialized writing courses. We teach several courses designed for students in their first year at Lehigh. And we offer a number of courses for students who want to do more specialized work in writing, especially creative writing. For details about these courses, follow the links below.
