“Later that fall I made the drive to South Mountain and fell in love with Lehigh,” said Hodsdon, who was accepted into the rigorous and highly selective Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) honors program at Lehigh and found what he described as “a perfect fit for me.” He added a second major in electrical engineering, and hopes to ultimately land a job with an international engineering firm before settling down into either a secondary or post-secondary teaching role.

Once he arrived on campus for his first-year orientation, Hodsdon found himself continually offered new and challenging opportunities for social interaction, personal growth and academic accomplishment.
“Through my classes in the business and engineering schools, as well as three summers of research here, I have grown academically and learned new ways of thinking, problem solving and communicating,” he says.  “I have honed my public speaking skills, networking skills and expanded my circle of friends to include peers, faculty and administrators.
