IMPLICATIONS
The findings in this survey suggest that:
- there is continued student acceptance of the five-eyes concept
- educating students about expectations is having desired results
- I need to work on establishing time guidelines for posting
- concern for community might be nicking away at the rhetoric of conflict noted in the last survey
- I could use more information about the types of problems that returners face
- I need guidelines for dealing with irresponsible group members
- the relationship between class discussion and the discussion board needs to be fine-tuned
- I need to address the concerns of a few students who feel a stifling lack of freedom in this system (since they match a persistent worry of mine)
