What questions or problems or issues are still hanging? Here are some things that I especially should give more thought to:
- how can I help students respond to dead-end posts (e.g., a typology of difficult posts)?
- what are fair posting timeframes and deadlines?
- what is the optimum number of posts for optimum quality within a time period?
- how connect in-class discussion and the discussion board?
- how vivify community or lack of it in the very beginning?
- how to deal with people who don't post, especially in sequenced activity?
- do the three levels of the response options make sense?
- how put a reasonable leash on the time it takes to manage an active discussion board?
