Since February 2009, the Chaplain’s Office and Dialogue Center have sponsored small spirituality discussion groups for faculty, staff and students. In these groups, participants take turns facilitating the monthly conversations and have the opportunity to share their own spiritual and religious perspectives, to hear to the experiences of others and to grow in ways that typical interactions and settings do not encourage or allow.
Discussion topics are chosen by members of the group and have included our individual religious and spiritual journeys, belief in the afterlife, prayer, how spirituality affects our work and professional development, finding community and examining our own values.
Please contact Rabbi Seth Goren, Associate Chaplain and Director of Jewish Student Life, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
