Programs at the Dialogue Center
A Dialogue Center Program that arranges for Lehigh students (and anyone else interested) to tutor inmates at the Northampton County Prison in Easton. This is an on-going project and calls for volunteers will be made every semester. Students will go through an orientation and a background check. Tutoring involves one-to-one sessions with inmates helping them prepare for high school equivalency exams or high school graduation. Emphasis is on developing reading, writing and math skills. The Dialogue Center works with Arnold Matos, the Volunteer Coordinator for the Prison.
