Embracing Diversity
The University Counseling and Psychological Services (UCPS) embraces diversity in our campus community. We strive toward providing culturally sensitive counseling and psychological services with regard to race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and nationality. Our staff is extensively trained in multicultural issues and strives to meet the needs of multiple populations. Through direct services, outreach and consultation with offices on campus, we seek to empower all Lehigh students toward their desired academic and personal goals.
Lehigh UCPS recognizes the unique needs and issues of different groups on campus, including racial/ethnic minority students, international students, women, and LGBTQIA students. We work collaboratively with the Multicultural Affairs Office, Office of International Students and Scholars, Women’s Center, and the Department of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Ally (LGBTQIA) Services to empower students and enhance their experiences at Lehigh University. Here is a glimpse into helpful resources for cultural groups on campus.
