Lehigh Study Abroad offers over 200 programs in more than 60 countries. Programs occur throughout the year: winter, summer, spring, and winter. The Lehigh Abroad Faculty Policy Board, consisting of faculty representatives from each College, approves the programs in which Lehigh students may enroll for Lehigh credit. Students may petition to the Policy Board if no approved program meets their needs. Students must attend a Lehigh approved program or a program that has been approved through the petition process. All programs listed on this page are approved.
Students can browse the approved programs below by geographical location and program name. The following sheets list programs by College and Major: Engineering, Business, Science, Humanities, IBE. Students can also browse our Internship programs.

THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER
Third-party providers are American based non-profit organizations that coordinate applications, onsite orientations, and often have their own in-country staff. Students apply to the U.S. provider and the provider sends the application materials to the university of choice. When choosing to study abroad through a program provider, the student's main contact is the provider and not the overseas university. Students are parents can contact the provider office here in the states at any point during study abroad process. Third party providers include groups such as IES, CIEE, SIT, InterStudy, IFSA-Butler, CCCS, DIS, SFS Marquette University, Minnesota University, Syracuse University, Temple University, and Boston University, etc.
DIRECT ENROLL
Students will apply directly to the university's international student office for the semester they plan to study abroad. Most of these university's provide comprehensive on-site orientations, housing arrangements, and an attentive support staff. Students should expect to act more independently when choosing a direct enroll study abroad program. In most cases, there is no office in the USA for students to work with prior to departure. Examples of Direct Enroll programs include: London School of Economics, University of Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Kansai Gaidai, etc.
