$1,500 (tentative) - This includes airfare, lodging, most meals and some cultural experiences. Not included: local travel outside of the program, some meals, laundry, personal expenses, personal weekend travel or other costs.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Fit an international experience into your busy academic/athletic Lehigh schedule! Make the most of your Spring Break by taking advantage of this Leadership Development opportunity in the gorgeous country of Croatia on the Adriatic Sea. Participate with mid-level managers from Croatia in a 3-day workshop, serve the community for 1 1/2 days and explore the area for 2 1/2 days.

This is a 9-day, noncredit-bearing, leadership development opportunity for student-athletes who may not otherwise have an opportunity for an international experience. The program is designed to enhance personal and professional leadership skills. Students will be integrated into a workshop environment where they will have an opportunity to interact with mid-level Croatian business people. Topics will include: Leadership Style, Communicating Leadership, Developing Leadership Effectiveness, Leading for Success, Effective Decision Making, and Mobilizing/Influencing Others to Act. A Leadership Assessment will be an additional component of the program. In addition to the three-day workshop, students will engage in a day or day and a half of community service, meet students from the Business Academy Rijeka, learn the local culture, and explore the beautiful area on the Adriatic Sea. This exhilarating experience will likely be your best Spring Break yet!
