BIO
I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada before making my way to Southside Bethlehem in 2002 to pursue my undergraduate degree and play on the women’s volleyball team at Lehigh. With majors in Asian Studies and Sociology, a desire to enhance my Chinese language skills and obtain teaching experience, I was naturally drawn to studying abroad in China. Through the Lehigh in Shanghai program I was given the opportunity to teach English and coach volleyball at a public school in China.  Upon graduating, I returned to China to study Mandarin and Chinese culture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and to teach English at a private school.

Following my experience in China, I returned to Lehigh to pursue my love for international education and in June of 2010 completed a master's degree in Globalization and Educational Change from Lehigh’s Comparative and International Education program in the College of Education. In July of 2010 I began my position in the Study Abroad Office as a student advisor.

In my spare time, I enjoy doing yoga, playing beach and indoor volleyball in local leagues, and traveling both internationally and domestically to visit my family and friends. I also volunteer as an Assistant Coach for the Lehigh Men's Club Volleyball Team.
