Bryan Berger part of a team awarded a $2.4 million, 5-year NIH grant

Bryan Berger, the P. C. Rossin Assistant Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and member of the Bioengineering program, is part of a team led by Joel Bennett, Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine that was recently awarded a $2.4 million, 5-year NIH grant “Regulation of Platelet and Endothelial Cell Function”.

Bryan currently has an adjunct appointment in the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. The work will utilize techniques developed by Dr. Daniel Su, who recently graduated from the Berger group with a PhD in Chemical Engineering, to investigate mechanisms of transmembrane signal transduction during platelet activation.
