ChBE senior Robert Dunleavy lead author on paper published in PNAS

Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering senior, Robert Dunleavy, is the lead author on the paper "Single-enzyme biomineralization of cadmium sulfide nanocrystals with controlled optical properties" published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS). Professors Bryan Berger, Steve McIntosh (both of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering) and Chris Kiely and Graduate Student Li Lu from Materials Science and Engineering were co- authors on this paper. The article was published online on April 26, 2016.

As an undergraduate student, Robert has worked in Professor Berger's lab doing research since 2013, has been on the Dean's list achieving a 3.6 or greater twice, achieved Honorable Mention in the 2015 David and Lorraine Freed Undergraduate Symposium, and received the American Chemical Society Award in Spring of 2015.

Robert will be attending Cornell University in the Fall 2016 semester as a Ph.D. student.
