Chemical Engineering doctoral student Naval Singh wins Outstanding Teaching Assistant of the Year Award

Doctoral student Naval Singh in the department has won the Outstanding Teaching Assistant of the Year Award given by Lehigh's Office of Graduate Studies.

This award is based on nomination submitted by students in the course "Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics" (ChE- 400 and ChE- 210) for which Naval served as the Teaching Assistant in Fall 2015 and Spring 2016.

Awards were presented at the Deans' Award Luncheon for Graduate Student Appreciation Week on Wednesday April 13, 2016.

Naval is pursuing PhD studies under the supervision of Dr. James Gilchrist, Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. His thesis is focused on "Thermophoretic motion of particles in complex fluids"
