Dr. Kelly Schultz appointed a P. C. Rossin Assistant Professor

Dr. Kelly Schultz has been appointed a P. C. Rossin Assistant Professor in the Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. Made possible by a gift from Peter and Ada Rossin, the Rossin Assistant Professorship is awarded to those outstanding assistant professors in the P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science who demonstrate outstanding potential to establish a successful academic career at Lehigh through the integration of teaching and research. Additionally, the assistant professor should have clear interest in participating in interdisciplinary research.

Dr. Schultz will be recognized at the Rossin ceremony on April 15, 2016 and also officially inducted at the University Founder's Day ceremony in October 2016.

Earlier this year, Dr. Schultz received a grant from NIH to study the interaction of Mesenchymal Stem Cells with their environment. Previously, Dr. Schultz has won the TA Instruments Distinguished Rheologist Award and the Doctoral New Investigator grant from the Petroleum Research Fund of ACS.
