Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering senior Paige Elliott chosen to be the student speaker at the University Honors Convocation

Paige Elliott, a senior in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, has been selected as the student speaker for the P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University Honors Convocation on April 8, 2016 to be held at the Zoellner Arts Center. Paige was selected by the College based on her exceptional academic record, extra curricular activities, and ability to communicate effectively.

Among her many honors include:

(1) William H. Chandler Prize as a sophomore in chemical engineering;

(2) Robert C. Hicks Prize in Chemical Engineering (this is the top UG award in the department);

(3) Harry M. Ullmann Prize in Chemical Engineering In addition to demonstrated excellence in academics,

Paige has also been recognized as a star soccer player in Lehigh's Women's Soccer team.

Division I Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer (Patriot League) National and Regional Honors: Capital One Academic All-District Team (2014), Academic All-Region Team (2014), College Soccer 360.com Primetime Performer of the Week (2012)

League and Team Honors: Team Captain (2015), Academic All-Patriot League (2014), First Team All-Patriot League (2012), Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2012-2014), Team Scholar Athlete Award (2013, 2014)

Student Athlete Leadership Development Program: Participated in P.R.I.D.E., Emerging Leaders, Leadership Legacies, and LAUNCH Programs with athletes from all sports to cultivate role model and vocal leadership skills for use on and off the field

Paige will graduate with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in May 2016 and intends to start an engineering position at ExxonMobil soon thereafter.
