Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering majors complete a Martindale Honors Program in the Czech Republic

CHBE majors Logan Hodges (BS, CHBE 2016) and Lisa Heintzelman (BS, CHBE 2016, IBE 2016) recently completed a research trip to the Czech Republic as part of the Martindale Student Associates Honors Program. This program allows select students at Lehigh to explore global business, economic and public policy issues outside of the classroom, as part of Lehigh's Martindale Center. Martindale Associates first visit Washington DC and then the country of study to discuss issues with thought leaders from government business and academia.

The results of their study is published as a journal article in the Martindale's undergraduate research journal "Perspectives on Business and Economics".

Lisa's article was entitled Gender Inequality in the Czech Republic: Institutional and Societal Barriers to Equality

Logan's article was entitled Boom or Bust? An Analysis of the BRNO Startup Ecosystem
