Wachs Delivers Plenary Lecture at 3rd International Symposium on Chemistry for Energy Conversion and Storage

Professor Israel E. Wachs, G. Whitney Snyder Chair of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, delivered a plenary lecture entitled "Catalysis Science of Hydrogen Production via the Water-Gas Shift Reaction" at the 3rd International Symposium on Chemistry for Energy Conversion and Storage. The coauthors were Minghui Zhu, chemical engineering graduate student at Lehigh University being supervised by Prof. Wachs, and collaborators from the Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max Planck Society (T.C.R. Rocha, A. Knop-Gericke and R. Schlogl). The symposium was held in Berlin, Germany January 18-21, 2015 and organized by the Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max Planck Society and Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science Catalysis and Materials Division (China).

The symposium brought together participants from Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States.
