APICS CSCP Certification Training

APICS LogoEarning an APICS (the Association for Operations Management) certification can transform a practitioner from a qualified candidate to a sought-after expert. The CVCR offers supply chain practitioners the opportunity to earn an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification. The APICS CSCP brings a company's entire value chain into perspective. By gaining a truly end-to-end view of the supply chain, certified CSCPs don’t just become leading supply chain professionals within their organizations’ walls—they become global experts. From manufacturing to service, in business and consumer markets, the increasingly important role of effective supply chain management affects all organizations. Customer expectations are high—and with the APICS CSCP, professionals can ensure that their companies not only meet, but exceed them.

The CVCR’s course helps attendees prepare for the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certification exam. It consists of five eight-hour classes, with each class covering one module of the CSCP Learning System plus a review session. Each class utilizes an interactive student response system to help monitor and measure the student learning experience. Attendees learn concepts pertaining to:

  • Supply Chain Management Fundamentals
  • Building Competitive Operations and Planning, and Logistics
  • Managing Customer and Supplier Relationships
  • Using Information Technology to Enable Supply Chain Management

The CSCP instructor is Howard Forman, president of PIM Associates, Inc., a leading provider of operations and supply chain education and training. Howard has over 30 years of experience in the operational and supply chain field as a practitioner, consultant and trainer. He has taught over 165 APICS CPIM, CIRM, and CSCP certification classes and tutorials. Howard is a frequent speaker at various APICS meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
