Susan J. Carrara, MBA
Ms. Carrara is a consultant in organizational development and training professional as well as a turnaround specialist possessing outstanding interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Ms. Carrara’s consulting practice focus involves specializing in leadership resilience and organizational sustainability through ethical practices and growth which protects all stakeholders. Her professional highlights include: designing and implementing an innovative corporate-wide incentive program that links profitability, accountability and customer service for People Express Airlines, Inc., conceiving and implementing the first ever New Jersey state-wide communication system for NJ Transit, Inc., specializing in leadership/management coaching at Adams, Nash, Haskell & Sheridan—a leading labor relations firm in the US—and directing organizational development and training at KidsPeace.
Ms. Carrara’s educational background includes a B.S. in Education from Seton Hall University and an MBA from the University of Southern California for Professional Studies. She also is a Certified Facilitator, has training in Leadership Development I, II, III and IV from NJT and studied Management and Leadership Development at Harvard.
In her spare time, Ms. Carrara is an active member in her community. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the Wellness Community for Cancer Education & Support as well as ICHS, a College Prep High School serving minority populations in Montclair, NJ. Ms. Carrara is also a motivational speaker and coach for New Jersey homeless shelters, women’s correctional facilities and not-for-profit organizations.
