Ajai K. Singh, award-winning educator and researcher, becomes the fourth Lehigh faculty member to hold a chair endowed by Joseph R. Perella ’64.

Endowed faculty positions are universally recognized as among the most influential and meaningful gifts that can be made to an academic institution. This financial commitment is one of the most crucial ways for universities to compete for, and retain, the best and brightest faculty.

Joseph R. Perella, chairman of Perella Weinberg Partners, a member of Lehigh’s board of trustees and an honorary member of the College of Business’ dean’s advisory council, has endowed four chairs in the College of Business and Economics.  The Joseph R. Perella and Amy M. Perella Chairs have been awarded to distinguished faculty who are top-notch researchers and educators. Most recently, professor of finance Ajai K. Singh joined chairs Anne Anderson, Paul Brockman, and Gopal Krishnan, as the Bolton-Perella Chair.
